Our district is home to 2,470 students, 203 certified staff members, 144 classified staff members, 12 administrators, and 7 board members. Marshall Public Schools has one high school (Marshall High School 9-12), one middle school (Bueker Middle School 5-8), four grade-level specific elementary buildings (Benton Elementary (K-1), Southeast Elementary (K-2), Eastwood Elementary (K-3), Northwest (K-4), one early childhood center, one career center (Saline County Career Center), and one alternative placement school (Satellite School K-12).
Marshall Public Schools has very deep educational roots in Saline County beginning in 1849. In addition to serving Marshall students, Miami, Blackwater, Orearville, and Hardeman send students to high school in Marshall. Many teachers, school leaders, and community members have made Marshall Public School what it is today.
